On the way of the allied army (deployment of Swedish troops, Cossacks of Ivan Mazepa and Zaporozhian Cossacks before and during the Poltava Battle)

During the tour, you will learn about the events that took place before the decisive battle. You will visit the places where the warriors of the allied Ukrainian-Swedish army were deployed before the Poltava Battle.

The tour route includes:

  • Memorial of Cossack Glory (the place of the base of operations of Charles XII and Ivan Mazepa,  Zhuky village);
  • Monument to Swedes from their compatriots (Pobyvanka area);
  • places of redoubts of the Moscow army;
  • the second fortified camp of the Moscow army;
  • museum campus;
  • Poltava Battle History Museum;
  • Khrestovozdvyzhenskyi Monastery (the site of the headquarters of Charles XII before the Poltava Battle).

The tour ticket is 700 UAH for a group + admission charge (for a group of up to 25 persons).
